How to organize images

Editing image information in Publitio

Files information and settings

Main settings (important to configure)

• Public ID: name that appears in the URL

• Title: name of the image

• Description: description of the image

• Tag: add tags to the image for categorization and search

Other settings (optional and good to have)

• Watermark: an overlay on the image

• Password protection: put a password on the file [paid feature]

• File privacy: make the file available to everyone (must be public)

• Allow download: make the file available to download (only used for videos with Publitio player, off is recommended)

• URL-based transformation: adjust images using URL (off is recommended)

• Allow ads: make ads visible (only used for videos with Publitio player, off is recommended)

Creating folders

1. Click "New folder", then insert the name and click "Create"

Moving images to a folder

1. Select the images, click on the "Gear Icon", and choose "Move to Folder"

   

   Select files to move into a folder
2. Select the folder to move the file into, then click "Move File"

   

   Confirm to move to a folder

If the image is moved to a different location (folder), the image URL will change, and the image URL inside the master data table has to be adjusted accordingly. Or else the front end will show a black box with the text "The file 'image.jpg' doesn't exist."
